The Boy Who Cried for the Wolf
There was once a young boy who lived in a village that bordered on a wide field. The field was filled with tall grass, so tall that no one could see who was who within the field. All that could be known was what was said. The boy was fond of playing in the field, and went there nearly every day. There he made many friends, but none so special to him as the wolf.
She came from a forest that also bounded on the field. She, to, came to the field to frolick and play, and when she met the boy, she spent as much time as she could with him in the field, just as he did.
Now, each of them had to return hime at ti
Hearts and Hands
We were in love
We wanted forever
So we gave our hearts
As a present
To each other
But when the presents were opened
We discovered in horror
That things had gone wrong
My hands seemed much to big
In even the most careful clasp
Your heart might be crushed
Your hands seemed much to small
From your grip, no matter how careful
My heart might fall and shatter
We stared at each other
Wishing it weren't so
But knew what we had to do
It was the right thing
It was the smart thing
It was the painful thing
Carefully we returned our hearts to the boxes
Carefully taped them shut
And put the ribbons and bows back on
